Sheriff Clint Hammonds reported recent arrest from January to current. On January 29th at approximately 0145 Deputy Drake was on patrol on US 84 west just outside of Goldthwaite. Deputy Drake observed a truck pulling a trailer west bound on US 84 traveling at a 99 M.P.H. in a 55 M.P.H. zone. Deputy Drake stopped the driver who is identified as Hadley Wayne Seider 23 of Mullin, Texas. During the stop it was determined that Seider was intoxicated and was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. As a result of multiple undercover narcotics investigations in the year of 2019 and 2020 Matthew James Jackson 51 of Goldthwaite was taken into custody for sentencing on March 2nd. Jackson was charged with several counts of delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine over 4 grams but less than 200 grams, tampering with evidence and failure to register as sex offender. Jackson was sentenced to 15 years for possession and 15 years for delivery and 2 years for failure to register as sex offender. On February 17th Joshua Allen Auvenshine 23 Of Comanche, Texas was arrested for a motion to revoke probation for a previous possession of methamphetamine in Mills County. On February 22, Deputies responded to a suspicious person near a business on Fisher Street in Goldthwaite. Deputies located a 21-year-old female in a black car next to the building. The female was identified as Lashantae Shacole Williams of San Antonio. Williams was arrested for a robbery warrant out of Bexar County, Texas and the vehicle she was in was also stolen from San Antonio.

 

On March 3rd Deputies transported 22-year-old James Johnathan Walker from Arkansas for a warrant charging him with burglary of a building. On March 9th Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Fisher Street in Goldthwaite and made contact with driver identified as Beatriz Cordero-Jimenez 25 of Austin. During the stop deputies had probable cause for a search that resulted in the seizure of marijuana and other controlled substance. Jimenez was arrested and later posted bail of her charges. On March 10th Justin Ismael Zepeda 19 of Austin, Texas was arrested for surety withdraw for possession of marijauna and a controlled substance. On March 14th Deputies were on patrol on US 84 west of Goldthwaite and stopped the driver of a vehicle for a traffic infraction. During the contact deputies could smell a strong odor of marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle. Deputies searched the vehicle and recovered a loaded handgun, marijuana and 28 grams of prescription medicine. Christopher Rodriguez was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance and unlawful carrying of handgun. This same date at approximately 6:30 PM, Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle that fled from them on US 183 and continuing on to County Road 450. The driver of the vehicle finally stopped further down County Road 450 inside some property. Deputies made contact with 51-year-old Jeffery Dean Carlisle of Copperas Cove, TX. Deputies observed Carlisle smoking a marijauna cigarette. Carlisle was arrested for possession of marijuana, fleeing and was taken to the Mills County Jail. Once inside the jail during a search an item fell from Carlisle’s boots believed to be drugs but Carlisle immediately grabbed the item and flushed it. Carlisle was then charged with felony tampering with evidence. Further through the booking process Carlisle made death threats against staff and was charged with felony retaliation.

 

Keith Dwayne Boykin 52 of Goldthwaite was arrested on March 15th for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more. On March 17th Breanna Lynn Spencer 37 of Brownwood, Texas was arrested on 2 outstanding warrants for possession of methamphetamine. Walter Franklin Wilson 27 of Mullin, TX was taken into custody on March 19th after being sentenced to SAFEP treatment facility. On March 21 at approximately 5:50 PM, Jonathan Tyrone Kitchens 26 of Killeen, TX was stopped for a minor traffic violation which resulted in the recovery of THC edibles and cocaine. Kitchens was charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. On March 24th Victoria Larae Lomas was arrested for an outstanding warrant for motion to revoke probation for possession of controlled substance. On March 31st Tyler Tindell 21 of Mart, TX was sentenced by 35th District Judge Mike Smith to 5 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for the offense of burglary of a building.
